Blanket Distribution Program
Delhi's winter nights can be deadly for people who sleep on footpaths, under flyovers and in makeshift shelters. Every winter, our volunteers go out late at night to cover them with warm blankets and to bring winter clothing to families in need.
Our night drives focus on the most exposed — elderly people, mothers with young children and homeless workers. We distribute directly, by hand, so that blankets reach people who are actually sleeping in the cold.
Alongside blankets, we distribute sweaters, caps, socks and shawls, and we work with shelters to ensure people know where to find a warm place to stay.
